The nice list...

Olo!

I'm taking a trip up to Santa's workshop for today's card and just look at this sweet faced little elf that I've stumbled across. He's called Toy Shop Helper and he's from Mo's Digital Pencil. As soon as I saw this cutie in the shop I knew I had to snap him up because he reminds me of the elves in the Santa Clause movie with Tim Allen. Sure he may look like he's three years old but he's actually been running his department for over 300 years! Awww... the magic of Christmas. ;)
I'm also spreading the holiday cheer and entering this card into the Anything Goes challenge over at Mo's Digital Challenge.

Later gators!

Joys of the season...

Hello again!

We got our first real snow of the season yesterday even though the forecast wasn't predicting any til Thursday. I was really hoping for a couple more days of clear roads but what can you do? As pretty as the white stuff can be, more than anything it just makes me want to hole up in my comfy home with a kitty or two to snuggle. Kinda like this super sweet little sleepy head from CC Designs, she's called Sleepy Cinnamon and she is part of the new Rustic Sugar range of stamps. I love the story this image tells with the cookie crumbs on the plate and Cinnamon cozied down in her warmest footy pajamas, it looks like someone was trying to spy on old St. Nick but just couldn't keep her eyes open. I can remember trying to do the same thing as a kid and try as I might I never did manage to catch a glimpse of the big guy in action either. ;)

Toodles!

Holiday cheer...

Hello friends!

I’ve got a cute Christmas card to share with you today. There was a sale on the Dollies collection of stamps a couple of weeks ago and I couldn't resist adding Dollie with Gifts to my TGF stash. Just in time for Dollie to make it on a special card this holiday season. She really stole my heart, there is just something about this Dollie that looks both happy and excited yet also a tad frazzled. A mixture of emotions that I can totally relate too once I find myself in the midst of the usual holiday hustle and bustle. Let's just hope that these are the last of the gifts she has to get so that the rest of her time can be spent relaxing at home in front of the tree.  :)

Ok, time for me to hustle on out the door soon... laters!

Merry and Bright...

TGIF my friends!

I was lucky enough to be the winner of the A Day For Daisies October challenge and part of the prize package is getting to be a guest designer for them this month... I'm so excited! Today I am joining the ADFD design team to announce not only the new challenge for December but also share which fantastic images are being showcased this month. There are four quirky, cute Winter Fairies, Frosty Snowflakes and Tipsy Teacups all sharing in the spotlight. I'm convinced it is kismet that this is the month I get to join the fun because I've had my eye on these Winter Fairies for ages... I simply adore each one of them! Because the challenge theme for this month is to "Add Sparkle" I decided to print out Christmas Tree Fairy. The lights and ornaments of Christmas trees are what bring holiday sparkle to my mind. So I used a Wink of Stella glitter pen to add sparkle to her ornaments and garland strings then paired her up with some glittered poinsettia paper to add even more shine to the card.

Well I hope you join the fun at A Day For Daisies this month, good luck!  :)

Merry Little Christmas...

It's December 1st and that means a brand new Farm Fresh Challenge is underway at The Greeting Farm! As you know a new challenge is issued at the beginning of every month over on the TGF blog and this time we want to see you 'Add Sparkle' to your creations. Can you believe we are on the last challenge for 2016 already? Craziness I tell ya! With Christmas coming and the colder winter weather, adding sparkle to a card shouldn't be too hard at all. Sequins, glitter, gems... there are so many options to make your projects sparkle and shine so why not ink up your favorite TGF stamp and play along for a chance to win a $50 gift certificate?

For my Sparkle card I inked up the November Super Secret Stamp Club cutie called Jamie. She is all bundled up for a day outside in the cold and snow so I thought it would be fun to stamp up a little Christmas tree lot for her to visit as well. Then I paired that up with this great snowy neighborhood paper from Carta Bella. For the sparkle element I sprinkled on some gold sequins and kept the over-all card design clean and simple. I think Jamie knows the exact tree that she wants to take home and decorate this year.

Ok, so have fun with this one!

Happy Birthday...

Olo!

I nearly forgot to get my November cupcake on a card in time but I'm squeezing it in right under the wire. This cupcake from the Baker's Dozen set was stamped on kraft cardstock to fit the rustic fall feel that I wanted, it brings to mind spice cake which you just know is what this sweet treat is made of. The Classic Birthday sentiment is also from Papertrey Ink and I masked the cupcake so the two kinda meld together. Being a November birthday girl myself, I'm loving how it all came together. :)

Wonderful time of the year...

Hey there!

I've got a pretty little Christmas card to share today. This darling image is an older Sugar Nellie stamp called Hello Little Robin. It was kinda bittersweet inking her up knowing that after all these years Sugar Nellie is closing up shop. I will so miss their gorgeous stamps but it makes me even more grateful to have the stash of Sugar Nellie stamps that I do. I really need to make it a goal in the new year to ink more of them up. I paired this winter fairy and her birdie friend with the Winter Wonderland paper pad by Pebbles because I love the frosty purples and blues. It was a fun challenge to match up the Copics to the colors in the paper and I swear her blue skirt matches better in person than it does in this pic.

Ok friends, gotta run... talk at'cha later!
